Hello, I’m Alan B. Krueger, the Bendheim Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University. I was honored to serve as Chairman of President Barack Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers from 2011 to 2013, and was a member of the President’s Cabinet. I was also Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy and Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of the Treasury (2009-10) and Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of Labor (1994-95). My published articles focus on labor economics, inequality, unemployment, finance, terrorism, education, and a field that he calls “rockonomics” –the economics of the music industry. I look forward to discussing current events issues, pertaining to economics, when we meet on Collide.
